The Spokane River shapes the parks in Post Falls. Falls Park, 22 acres west of Spokane Street, has observation decks over the Avista dam and gorge and a fishing pond, where anyone over 14 needs an Idaho license. Across the Spokane Street Bridge, Q'emiln Park (pronounced "ka-mee-lin") covers 78.5 acres with a guarded swimming beach and a boat launch whose season Avista sets by water level.

Treaty Rock, a 4-acre park off Seltice Way, has a trail down a rock gorge past the outcrop where Frederick Post's name and the date June 1, 1871, are carved. The city notes that nobody knows whether the markings record his deal with the Coeur d'Alene Tribe.

Dogs on a leash are welcome at Falls Park, Black Bay, Kiwanis and four other city sites, but not at Q'emiln.

About these listings

Every business on this page is listed with public facts only: name, street address, phone number, category and opening hours where we have them. We do not publish reviews, star ratings, review counts or photographs, and we do not publish business email addresses.

Many of these listings do not show a website link. That is deliberate. We compiled them from public records and we would rather a business owner tell us their own URL than guess at it. If one of these is your business, open its listing and use the update link, or request removal. A person reads either request.
